<p>Process consists of simultaneously producing 2 or more sheets of unidirectional fibres, assembling them in convergent form and superimposing them on the point of convergence to form a sheet of several superimposed layers. This sheet is then subjected to a process of randomising and interlacing the fibres which modifies the structure into a multi-directional product. It then passes to subsequent mechanical and chemical operations for compacting and bonding the fibres.</p> |
