PURPOSE:To save the time and labor for retrieval by selecting the position of a compartment part corresponding to the contents of a corresponding identifier which are stored in a memory, and outputting a signal corresponding to the position of the compartment part when a stored body is retrieved. CONSTITUTION:The main body 4 of a storage box has compartment parts 6 equipped with quides 5 for guiding a jacket 2. Identification sensors 7 such as photosensors are arranged in the main body 4 corresponding to the respective compartment parts 6. Each photosensor 7 constitutes an input means which reads a retrieval code as the contents of a bar code 3 and inputs position information on the compartmemt part 6 wherein a floppy disk 1 given the bar code 3 is stored. Display means 8 corresponding to the compartment parts 6 are provided to the main body 4 and lights in response to, for example, a prescribed signal. |
