PURPOSE:To maintain the concentricity of grooves for light guidance on both surfaces and prevent a damage to information recording surfaces by jointing the entire surfaces of two substrates which have protection layers formed to specific thickness over the information recording surfaces of resin base materials having light guidance grooves and the information recording surface to each other with the information recording surfaces inside with an adhesive. CONSTITUTION:Center holes 13a and 13b after eccentricity removal based upon light guidance grooves are formed in a disk substrate 12a obtained by forming a photosetting resin layer 9a wherein a light guidance groove is formed, an optical recording film 10a, and protection layer 11a for the layer 10a on a resin base material 8a made of synthetic resin, and a disk substrate 12b having a photosetting resin layer 9b, an optical recording film 10b, and a protection layer 11b formed on a resin substrate 8b in said order. Then, both protection layers 11a and 11b are coated with a pressure adhesive 14, and then while the holes 13a and 13b are fitted around a metal fitting, specific pressure is applied from both surfaces to adhere the substrates together. Damage to the optical recording layers 10a and 10b is prevented by the protection layers 11a and 11b, and joining and eccentircity removal are carried out to manufacture a recording medium which provides images of high quality. |
