PURPOSE:To improve the productionability considerably by forming black stripes on one face of a glass plate then printing R, G, B phosphors alternatively in the gaps to produce a phosphor screen. CONSTITUTION:Print inks 2, 3, 4 of phosphors R, G, B are fed to a plurality of phosphor stripe grooves in a gravure print 8, then a rubber branket 5 is moved over the gravure print 8 to transfer each phosphor stripe 2', 3', 4' simultaneously to the rubber blanket 5 which is compression moved over a glass plate 6 thus to print each phosphor stripe 2'', 3'', 4'' simultaneously onto a glass plate 6 pre-formed with black stripes then thermally hardened under the condition of 150 deg.CX10-20min. to complete printing. Consequently, only one gravure print is required to simplify adjusting of positional accuracy of stripes while print inks can be hardened at once to improve the productionability. |
