A building system, which can be used as a dwelling, country house, service quarters or the like, is erected exclusively from biological materials. The basic structure, constituted by a statically load-bearing element, of the respective building (70) is a lattice-type frame structure (3, 4) which consists of wood or also of brickwork. As internal and external cladding of the free lattice spaces, so-called prefabricated hollow brick panels (10, 14) are used which are connected in an articulated or resilient manner via tie rods or similar to the load-bearing frame structure (3, 4). In order to heat the panel walls (10) or floors (14), a type of heat pump (50, 53, 54), comprising external and internal piles of stones (51 and 30, respectively) and connecting air ducts (72, 73), is used. <IMAGE>
