<p>Methods and compositions are provided for the purification of a protein identified as tumour necrosis factor from recombinant and non-recombinant sources, the preparation of nucleic acid which codes for this tumour necrosis factor, and the expression thereof in recombinant hosts. This tumour necrosis factor is used in the therapeutic treatment of malignant tumours, either alone or in synergic combination with an interferon.</p> |
