PURPOSE:To ease correction of meandering of a recording material by returning said material to a set conveyance route through separating a nip roller from a rotary drum. CONSTITUTION:In a device which records a recording material 1 while holding and conveying said material on a rotary drum 10, an energizing means 20, energizing a guide member 17, which guides both sides of the recording material 1, towards the center of a set conveyance position for the recording material 1, is provided. Further, nip rollers 12, 13, pressing the recording material 1 between said rollers and a rotary drum 10 which holds and conveys to a recording position said material 1 guided by a guide member 17, are separated from the drum 10 before or after the recording time of the material 1. If precision of fitting of a conveyance system is above a certain extent, correction can be easily made before the meandering quantity of the recording material is augmented. |
