PURPOSE:To enhance resistance to water, light and abrasion, by adhering an aqueous alkaline solution to a recording material simultaneously with or before or after the ejection of an ink comprising at least water, a hydrophilic organic solvent and a reactive dye. CONSTITUTION:An aqueous alkaline solution is adhered to the recording material simultaneously with or before or after ejecting an ink comprising at least water, a hydrophilic organic solvent and a reactive dye as a coloring agent through an ejecting orifice of a recording head. The above reactive dye has a reactive group such as monochlorotriazine, dichlorotriazine or the like, and the amount of the dye is preferably 0.1-20wt% to the total weight of the ink. The amount of water is preferably 20-70wt% to the total weight of the ink. The hydrophilic organic solvent may be a 1-10C alkyl alcohol, a solvent based on an ether or the like. |
