METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR COATING ADHESIVE FOR BAG MANUFACTURING

PURPOSE:To thickly apply an adhesive to the folded part and superposed part of the bottom part of a bag manufacturing sheet, by providing a shallow groove part and a deep groove part to the outer periphery of a coating roll along the longitudinal direction thereof. CONSTITUTION:An adhesive sump groove 24 for the bag side part of a bag manufacturing sheet and an adhesive sump groove 25 for the bag bottom part of said sheet are provided to a coating roll 18 in the circumferential direction and the longitudinal direction thereof and the sump groove 25 consists of deep groove parts 26 each of which is made deeper at a part where coating is applied to the part corresponding to the boundary part of the bag bottom part corresponding part and the other shallow groove parts 27. By this method, the wastefulness of the adhesive is omitted.
