摘要 <p>PURPOSE:To permit utilization of by-produced nitrogen at a pressure close to atmospheric pressure by installing four control valves and a compressor to a conventional oxygen generating apparatus. CONSTITUTION:Compressed air supplied from an intake port A is allowed to pass through a valve V1 by opening control valves V1, V4, V8 and closing V2, V3, V6, V7, V10 at the time tau1 and tau8 to adsorb N2 to a cartridge C1, and O2 is conducted to an exhaust port OX through the valve V5. The valve V6 is closed at the beginning of the time tau1 and the valves V4 and V8 are opened. Thus, the air and oxygen remaining in the both sides of the cartridge C2 by the internal pressure of introduced compressed and adsorbed N2 are exhausted through the valves V4, V8, and V9 and an exhaust port EX to the outside air. Then, the valves V4 and V9 are closed and valve V10 is opened at the end of the time tau8 to extrude the N2 adsorbed to the cartridge C2. And, the compressor CMP is driven to extrude the gas out of the exhaust port N.</p>
