PURPOSE:To injection-mold a plastic disk for a high density information recording carrier of uniform thickness by injecting molten resin from the external circumference of a mold cavity inwardly in the irradiation direction. CONSTITUTION:The looped flash gate 22 is opened actually circumferentially on the external circumference of the flat looped mold cavity 5 to pass the resin from the looped runner 20. In a molding time, the molten resin that has been injected from the hot runner block 10 is injected into the mold cavity 5 through the aprue 21, the looped runner 20, the looped flash gate 22. After a molded piece is cooled, the movable split molds 2 are opened, and then, when the ejector 6 is driven, a disk, the looped runner and the sprue are combined into one piece and extruded from the fixed split mold 1. |
