PURPOSE:To carry out effective defrosting by forming a transparent dielectric layer consisting of laminated transparent thin dielectric films having alternately higher and lower refractive indexes and a black paint film on a glass substrate and by supplying electric current to the paint film. CONSTITUTION:A transparent dielectric layer 8 is formed on one side of a glass substrate 1 by successively laminating the 1st transparent thin dielectric film 2 having a higher refractive index, the 2nd transparent thin dielectric film 3 having a lower refractive index and the 3rd transparent thin dielectric film 4 having a higher refractive index. The films 2, 4 are made of titanium oxide, the film 3 is made of silicon oxide, and the films 2, 3, 4 are vacuum deposited so as to adjust the optical thickness (the product of refractive index and thickness) to lambda/4. A black paint film 5 of electrically conductive carbon resin is formed on the other side of the substrate 1 so that the thickness of the central part is made small. |
