Air carrier based on water-soluble sulpho-succinamate for cement - giving effective aeration

Air carrier for building materials based on cement consists of or contains a water-soluble sulphosuccinamate salt(I). The carrier pref. consists of 5-40, esp. 10-35 wt. % (I), 5-40, esp. 10-35 wt.% water-soluble sulphosuccinate salt (II) and the rest a water-soluble slkylbenzenesulphonate salt (III). The carrier, which introduces microscopic air bubbles into the mix, gives it almost the same properties as the conventional carriers based on natural resins. It can be used with all cements which can be aerated, including Portland and hydraulic cement and esp. cement for walls. The mixt. of (I), (II) and (III) can be used in aq. soln. in concns. of 0.1% to satn. pref. 0.1-10% e.g. 1-7%. Typically, 0.0001-10. Pref. 01-1.0 e.g. 0.012% (I) is added w.r.t. the wt. of the cement.
