The invention relates to a cover (9) which consists of insulating material and has a U-profile for live electrical connections (terminal 1). The centre part (14) of the cover covers the front, the limbs (10) and the two sides of the connection. The parts which are to be connected, the busbar (7) and the conductor (8) run at angles of 90 DEG with respect to one another, and the limbs (10) of the cover are provided with latching arms (11) which engage over the busbar (7). The limbs (10) are slotted (12) in order to form the latching arms (11). The cover is preferably used for covering busbar terminals. <IMAGE>
