The subject-matter of the invention is a closure for a lighting fixture, in particular for a moisture-proof and explosion- or firedamp-proof lighting fixture, which comprises a transparent covering bowl and a lighting fixture housing which contains the electrical installations and fluorescent tubes, incandescent lamps or the like, it being possible for the covering bowl and lighting fixture housing to be joined to one another on one side via hinged joints and on the other side via a closure element. The essence of the invention is that the closure element is constructed as a clamped closure 9 and consists of a foldable locking rail 10, which is mounted via at least one double-hinged joint 13 on the lighting fixture housing 2 and whose free end bears, for the purpose of joining together the lighting fixture housing 1 and covering bowl 2, under stress against a flanged rim 24 of the covering bowl 2 which is supported on the lighting fixture housing 1. <IMAGE> |
