In the method according to the invention, the output voltage of the measuring circuit is used as zero reference voltage whilst the input of this circuit, at which normally the feed voltage is present, is held at reference potential. In addition, the output voltage of the measuring circuit which is obtained when a test reference voltage proportional to the feed voltage is present at the input of the amplifier section is used as reference voltage. In this manner, the advantage is obtained that not only the drift of an analog/digital converter of the measuring circuit for carrying out the method is corrected but drift phenomena of the measurement value pick-up and of the amplifier section are also corrected.
