The invention relates to a connecting device for coaxial cables (10) of different diameter. The different diameters of the connecting unit (4) and of the cables (10) which are to be inserted are suitably compensated for by means of an electrically insulating plug-in sleeve (1). A moisture seal in the longitudinal direction is achieved by means of suitable inserts (6, 7), or drawn-forward contact systems. The outer conductor (3) makes contact with the connecting unit (4) with the aid of a sprung contact ring (2), by means of radial perforations (19) in the plug-in sleeve (1). The inner conductor (9) of the coaxial cable (10) is passed through an opening (13) in the plug-in sleeve (1) of the contact device (15) within the distributor.
