PURPOSE:To secure uniformity of colors and uniformity of an image, by recording on a recording material in primary colors of cyan and magenta by an ink jet recording method or a heat transfer recording method, and then recording in a yellow primary color. CONSTITUTION:In recording a multicolor image on a recording material by the ink jet recording method or the thermal transfer recording method using at least three primary color recording liquids of cyan, magenta and yellow, recording is conducted on the recording material in the primary colors of cyan and magenta, and then recording is conducted in the yellow primary color. The recording means is flying liquid droplets in the case of the ink jet recording method, and is a thermally transferrable ink composition provided on an ink ribbon in the case of the thermal transfer recording method. Accordingly, disorder in colors and those of images are reduced to such an extent that they can be hardly recognized by visual check. |
