PURPOSE:To improve the control efficiency of summary information by using a summary document produced previously in case no original document related to a summary document is changed at all in the reference mode of the summary document. CONSTITUTION:When a reference request is received to a summary document, a corresponding row on a master document control list is decided by a master document identifier. When a life/death identifier of the corresponding row is alive, the summary document is read from the place of the store address of the relevant row to finish the processing. If the life/death identifier is dead, a pointer to a slave document is used to produce a new summary document. When the production is over with the new document, the summary document is stored at the place of the store address of the relevant row. Finally the life/death identifier of the row is changed to an alive state to complete the operation. |
