PURPOSE:To obtain the high printing quality for a long time, by a method wherein ink is discharged at every comparatively short fixed time period in no recording time and the number of times of reaching a fixed time are counted after the start of recording. Simultaneously, the discharge of ink is prohibited and at the end of recording, the discharge prohibition amount is corrected. CONSTITUTION:The control circuit 45 consisting of microcomputer is equipped with the means of timer, discharges a fixed amount of, for example 840m.sec jet ink to the ink discharging port each fixed time, for example, each 80sec and at the same time, prohibits the discharge of ink until the number of times reaching a fixed time becomes a fixed number N in the initial state at least during the operation of recording and stores the number (n) of times reaching a fixed time. Then, when said number of times (n) reaches a fixed number N, for example, 3 times, the recording is discontinued and ink is discharged. Everytime its discharge amount reaches a fixed amount, the stored (n) is renewed and a fixed amount of ink corresponding thereto is discharged. When the recording is completed, the ink of the amount corresponding to the number of times (n) is discharged. Thus, before the deterioration of the recording quality, the removal of ink can be carried out. |
