PURPOSE:To prevent an unexpected start of an agricultural machinery despite a misoperation of a change lever by shifting the change lever to a backing area to control directly the interlocking to the ''make'' side of a clutch member at the high-speed side and cutting off the transmission of motive power immediately before a speed changing mechanism part. CONSTITUTION:When a change lever 2 is operated while an operation handle 3 and the lever 2 are set at the back side (shown by solid lines), a speed changing mechanism group within a transmission case 9 is switched between high and low speeds by the selective engagement of a shifter boss and the rubbing of a shifter stay. In this case, a restraining arm has interference to a projected part of a restraining plate is set an upper position if a clutch member 5 of the high-speed side is set in the ''make'' side. As a result, the front tilting action of the lever 2 is prevented and the engagement is impossible between a change arm and a backing shifter boss. In case the member 5 is set at the ''break'' position with the lever 2 tilted to the backing side, the retaining arm reaches right above the projected part to prevent the oscillation of the member 5 although the member 5 is set to the ''make'' side. This can avoid a dangerous high- speed backing state. In such a way, an unexpected srart of an agricultural machinery can be prevented despite a misoperation of the change lever. |
