PURPOSE:To elevate the reliability and maintainability by displaying the type of abnormality detecting the presence thereof from detection values and set values for the rotation of a recording drum and the position of a cleaning blade and a developer. CONSTITUTION:A first detection means (a) mainly comprising an encoder 54 detects the revolutions of a recording drum, a second detection means (b) detects the contact position and separation position between a cleaning blade and the recording drum, and a third detection means (c) detects the contact position and the separation position between the development position and the recording drum. On the other hand, a specified values setting means (d) comprising a timer section 53 sets specified values for the high- and low-speed revolutions of the recording drum and the moving operation time in the contacting or separation actions between the blade and a developer. Based on the detection signals, the presence of individual abnormalities are judged by an abnormality detecting means (e) to show the type of abnormality on a display section of an operation panel. Thus, an appropriate treatment can be taken for maintenance or the like of the equipment. |
