PURPOSE:To certainly perform separation between paper sheets by forming a corrugation with an elastic body and exposing it from between belts. CONSTITUTION:A corrugation 27, formed by an elastic body and provided on the upper face of a vaccum box 25, is given the role of a normal corrugation 27 at the time of feeding paper with small rigidity such as thin paper and the like, while at the time of feeding paper with large rigidity such as thick paper and the like, a corrugation 29 is deformed by means of sucking force by the vacuum box 25 and paper so that the paper 28 is closely adhered onto the conveyance belt 22 to raise sucking efficiency. Accordingly, a gap 29, allowing a jet stream to blow in at the time of feeding thin paper, can be sufficiently secured between sheets. This leads to not only certain separation between sheets but also improvement of sucking efficiency of the vacuum box due to adhesion of paper to the belt at the time of feeding thick paper, and a big blower is not required. |
