PURPOSE:To accomplish smooth pack taking operation and to increase the linear velocity even if a wire is not cooled satisfactorily after plastic coating by forming a wire in a circle and then feeding the wire at the same speed as the draw- out speed to be dropped in a pack. CONSTITUTION:A wire 1 wound round the outer periphery of a capstan 4 is clamped between a feed pinch roll 13' and a guide roll 14 and guided by a flat belt 8 through a pinch roll 13 mounted on a flyer 6 in such a manner as to position tangential to the capstan 4, and the feed-out pinch roll 13' is rotated by a feed-out belt 12 laid on a feed-out pulley 11 rotated with a feed-out planetary gear 11' coaxially supported on the flyer 6. In this arrangement, the wire 1 can be fed out at the same speed as the draw-out speed, or at a little higher speed to be smoothly dropped in a pack. Accordingly, while the plastic coating wire is not cooled sufficiently and sticked on the capstan to be separated, the wire can be smoothly taken in a pack. |
