PURPOSE:To use a reaction product of a devil's tongue material and egg as a processed food, cosmetic, etc., by heat-treating a mixture of the devil's tongue material and egg at >=50 deg.C. CONSTITUTION:100pts.wt. devil's tongue material such as a devil's tongue, devil's tongue powder, etc. impregnated with a proper amount of water is blended with 20-2,500pts.wt. egg, heat-treated at >=50 deg.C, e.g., at about 90 deg.C, to give a reaction product wherein the devil's tongue material is at least partially reacted with the egg. The reaction product is optionally frozen, dried, or dehydrated, to give a slightly water soluble material or non-plastic material, which is used as a processed food such as a marine processed food, processed animal meat product, processed milky food, etc., cosmetic, adhesive, frame material, etc. |
