PURPOSE:To enable the right and left turning characteristics of a vehicle to be kept always same by mechanically interlocking the right and left rear wheels with each other through an interlocking mechanism utilizing a rack and pinion mechanism so as to be simultaneously brought into toe-in. CONSTITUTION:A connecting mechanism D has a pinion 21 which has been turnably supported on a vehicle body between the right and left wheels. With this pinion 21, racks 26R, 26L formed at respective inner end parts, in the direction of the vehicle width, of right and left relay rods 23R, 23L are engaged. when the right side relay rod 26R is displaced to the right, the right rear wheel is brought into toe-in. The displacement of the right side relay rod 23R to the right is transmitted to the left side relay rod 23L via the racks 26R, 26L as a movement for displacing the left side relay rod 23L to the left, and the left rear wheel is also brought into toe-in. |
