<p>In a filter pipe for a well having a filter pipe made of plastic having filter slots running in the peripheral direction and having ribs arranged on the outer peripheral surface of the filter pipe running in the longitudinal direction, a permeable layer of gravel is arranged on the outer casing surface of the filter pipe, the pieces of which gravel are firmly fixed to each other and to the outer casing surface of the filter pipe. The gravel layer avoids damage of the regions of the filter pipe between the filter slots during transport and installation, while at the same time, as a result of the filter slots, a compensation of the different thermal expansions between the gravel casing and filter pipe is achieved and thus the gravel layer is prevented from falling off the filter pipe. <IMAGE></p> |
