PURPOSE:To obtain a crosslinked PE molded article with a simplified process, by mixing PE with a vinylalkoxysilane added with a Lewis acid and a radical generator, and heating, kneading and molding the mixture. CONSTITUTION:A mixture of (A) PE, (B) a vinylalkoxysilane added with a Lewis acid [preferably 1/10-1/4mol of a lewis acid (e.g. BF3) is added to 1mol of a vinylalkoxysilane (preferably vinyltrimethoxysilane, etc.)] and (C) a radical generator (e.g. benzoyl peroxide, etc. in an amount of preferably 0.1-10pts.wt. per 100pts.wt. of the vinylalkoxysilane) is kneaded under heating, and molded to obtain a molded article of PE. The amount of the vinylalkoxysilane in the component B is preferably 0.5-5pts.wt. per 100pts.wt. of the component A. |
