PURPOSE:To install a type wheel at any angle to a drive means and interchange the wheel easily, by a method wherein reference position detecting unit is installed directly to the type wheel. CONSTITUTION:A type wheel 1 is provided at attaching surface side with a reference position detecting unit 3 of a metal and a first engaging member 4 having annular teeth at integer times to disassembling function of a servo motor 11. A second engaging member 5 is similarly engaging with the first engaging member 4 is mounted to a shaft 12 of the servo motor 11. If the type wheel 1 is mounted at any angle to the shaft 12, the first engaging member 4 and the second engaging member 5 are engaged with each other, and the type wheel 1 is adapted to disassembling point of the servo-motor 11, and each type portion 2 is accurately brought to printing position by driving of the motor 11. A metal detector 13 detects the reference position detecting unit 3, and at receiving output from a rotation position detector 14, a control unit controls the motor 11 and brings the prescribed type portion 2 to the printing position. |
