PURPOSE:To perform the fitting of a tire chain easily and in a short time by placing the tire chain on a U-shaped flat plate in accordance with its shape then rotating the flat plate together with the tire chain around the tire grounding section and fitting the tire chain. CONSTITUTION:When a chain is to be fitted, first this device in a folded condition is taken out, arms 2, 3 pivotally fitted to both ends of a main body 1 are deployed in a U-shape by loosening a butterfly nut 8 screwed to a bolt 7, then the butterfly nut 8 is again tightened to fix the shape. Next, this device is put on the ground, a tire chain is placed on this device with its side contacting a tire facing downward, and the first nodes of both ends of the chain are coupled with notches 5 of the arms 2, 3. Then, this device is moved near the grounding surface of the tire 10 from the side of the tire 10, this device is rotated into a condition shown in the figure, one-side coupling tool 12, 13 are connected, then this device is rotated about 180 deg., and other-side coupling tools 14, 15 are connected to complete the fitting. |
