PURPOSE:To obtain a high-contrast picture even in photographying of a high- speed object by setting the signal store period of each field so as to put the signal store period of the 2nd field close as much as possible to the signal store period of the 1st field. CONSTITUTION:For each signal charge store period of odd and even fields where continuous two fields are set in a pair, a period TeA is set for an odd field with coincidence secured between the rise of a vertical synchronizing signal and the timing. While a period TeB of the odd field is started immediately after the period TeA. Thus these periods TeA and TeB are almost continuous to each other. The exposure times of both fields for acquisition of signal charge are set close to each other to minimize the timing shift of exposure time. This produces no flicker nor blur with a reproduced picture of a high-speed object. Thus a high- contrast picture is obtained. |
