MAGNETIC BUBBLE MEMORY ELEMENT

PURPOSE:To eliminate the start-stop errors which are generated by a magnetic bubble input gate circuit and to improve the start-stop characteristics of a magnetic bubble memory element, by setting the tip of a hairpin part of a conductor pattern at a position closer to a minor loop than a straight line connecting the foot parts at both ends of a corner pattern. CONSTITUTION:A tip part 4a' of a hairpin part 4a of a conductor pattern is extended to a position closer to a minor loop 1 than a straight line 40 connecting foot parts 12a and 12c at both ends of a corner pattern 12. Therefore the part 4a has a larger distance from the part 12a. This eliminates substantially such a transfer error where the magnetic bubble to be stopped at the part 12a is moved mistakenly to the part 4a'. With use of a swapping gate circuit of such a constitution, the error rate is improved by >=2 digits.
