PURPOSE:To make it possible to carry out the mooring of a ship promptly and efficiently, by providing such an arrangement that the projections of mooring members which may be sunk by means of mooring wires that are connected to winches through pulleys laid on the sea bottom, are made engageable in recesses formed in the bottom of the ship. CONSTITUTION:Mooring members 5 each having at its top end an engaging section 4 and attached thereto with a tank which is water-chargeable and dischargeable, are connected with mooring wires 10, 11 which are connected at one end to winches 7 through pulleys 6 laid on the sea bottom 2 and air pipes 12 for supplying and discharging water to and from the tank. Engaging recesses into which the engaging sections 4 are fitted are formed in the bottom section of a hull 3. With this arrangement, when the winches 7 is operated to wind up the mooring wires after the engaging sections 4 of the mooring members 5 are locked in the recesses in the bottom section and secured thereto, the mooring of the hull may be promptly and efficiently carried out by means of the mooring wires 10, 11. |
