PURPOSE:To prevent the shut down occurring in an error by checking the fluctuation of a die thickness owing to a thermal expansion at every one shot and enabling the discrimination between the fluctuation in the die thickness owing to the bite of foreign matter and the fluctuation in the die thickness owing to the thermal expansion. CONSTITUTION:A titled device consists of a linear scale sensor 20, a setter 28 for setting preliminarily the permissible value of the position of a moving platen 1, a storage device 29, an arithmetic circuit 30 which calculates the difference in the position of the platen 1 after the generation of the n-th and the (n+1)th die clamping pressure and a comparator circuit 33 and outputs the signal for stopping injection when the difference in the position of said platen 1 exceeds the permissible value. Said sensor 20 is disposed between a stationary platen 17 and the platen 1 and detects the position of the platen 1 at every one shot. The device 29 stores the position data of the platen 1 after generation of the n-th and the (n+1)th die clamping pressure. |
