PURPOSE:To draw a long-sized pipe without using a distance block, etc. as usual by attaching a cylindrical guide to the front face of a die stand as well as providing a guide stopper, in pipe drawing device. CONSTITUTION:A cylindrical guide 9 is mounted on the front face of a die stand 3 to which a die 2 for pipe drawing device is attched, by abutting one side of the guide 9 to a pad 10 and the other end to the die stand 3. Guide grooves 9a, 9b for inserting a die stopper 11 are provided in the longitudinal direction of the guide 9 to the position away from the stand 3, by a distance corresponding to the length of a undrawn part plus its elongation increment caused by drawing. In drawing a pipe 1 by the die 2, especially for drawing a long-sized pipe longer than the maximum drawing length available by this device; the die 2 is easily moved and fixed and the long-sized pipe is drawn by simple operation by inserting the die stopper 11 into the grooves 9a, 9b of the guide 9 instead of mounting and dismounting a distance block used for moving and fixing the die 2. |
