PURPOSE:To enable the operation of a timer apparatus simply by making the setting of the operation starting time and time intervals of the timer operable so simply as eliminate the need for remembering the way of operation. CONSTITUTION:For example, when recording is to be done for 117 minutes from 9:15, keys are pressed in the sequence of 915 ''from'', 117 ''minutes'' an ''VTR''. ''915'' is inputted into a buffer 4 and when ''from'' is inputted, it is inputted into an hour register 6. Subsequently, with the keying of ''117'', the contents of the buffer 4 give ''0117''. Then, when ''minutes'' is inputted, output of the buffer is inputted into an end time register 7. Thereafter, by inputting ''VTR'', setting is made so that a video tape recorder starts operation at the operation time with a timer. This enable the inputting of timer setting information in the order of words thereby yielding the effect of allowing the operation of a timer apparatus so simply as to eliminate the need for remembering the way of opeation. |
