SUCTION WINDING METHOD OF MAGNETIC HEAD FOR VTR

PURPOSE:To secure the assured winding work with no disconnection by repeating such a process where a suction nozzle which sucks the free end of an extremely thin wire under vacuum is turned around the core of a magnetic head by a prescribed angle to change the nozzle to another one for vacuum suction and said thin line is wound around a core half. CONSTITUTION:An end of an extremely thin wire 6 having a size of about 0.02- 0.04m/m with prescribed length is fixed to a soldering surface 5. While the other end of the wire 6 is led out to the back side of a head base 2 through a small hole 4 of the base 2 and sucked to a suckig nozzle 7 coupled to a vacuum pump. Then the nozzle 7 is turned clockwise by 270 deg., and the wire 6 is folded by a right core half and sucked under vacuum by another suction nozzle 8 which is set at the back of a core 1. Thus the wire 6 is wound repetitively around the right core half through a gap 3 by a prescribed number of a turns. Then the nozzle 8 is turned counterclockwise by 270 deg. and therefore the wire 6 is folded by the left half of the core 1 and wound around this left half by a prescribed number of turns.
