发明名称 MAGNETIC DISK DEVICE OF SWING ARM SYSTEM
摘要 PURPOSE:To increase the rigidity of a carriage assembly structure and to reduce the bend resonance response in an access direction by attaching a viscoelastic body via an adhesive, etc. to a side face part which is considered effective to the attenuation of said resonance response. CONSTITUTION:Plural sheets of magnetic rotary disks 2 are laminated with fixed spaces and fixed to a spindle 3. These disks 2 are revolved by a pulley 4. A carriage block 5 has a magnet 6 and is fixed on a base 1. A pivot shaft 8 is clamped in a body to a carirage assebmly structure 7, and the structure 7 can turn round the shaft 8. The structure 7 contains a carriage main body 9, a voice coil 10 positioned at the part of a magnet 6 of a carriage block 5, plural units of read/write guide arms 11 equal to the number of disks 1 and a servo guide arm 12. A viscoelastic body 13 is attached to the side face of the body 7 by an adhesive, etc. Thus the resonance response level is lowered by the attenuating function of the body 13.
