PURPOSE:To improve sharpness and film strength of the title photographic sensitive material by specifying a scattering path length of light and incorporating a prescribed coupler into the photosensitive material. CONSTITUTION:A film thickness (light scattering path length) of a coated film from its uppermost surface to a lowest end of an emulsion layer nearest to a base in a dry state is regulated to <=21mum, in a photosensitive material consisting of each at least one red-, green-, and blue-sensitive silver halide emulsion layer, and a protective layer. At least one kind of water-soluble polymer coupler, for example, a polymer coupler contg. an ethylenic unsatd. monomer expressed by the formula as recurrent unit, is contained in the photosensitive material. In the formula, R' is H, 1-4C alkyl, etc.; L<1> is -COO-, -NHCO-, etc.; L<2> is a joint group; each (m) and (n) is 0 or 1; Q is a coupler residue. |
