PURPOSE:To provide the cooker with the weighing function of a high measuring accuracy and a prominent handling convenience by a method wherein the weight of a food is transferred to a string as the tension thereof and the oscillation frequency of the string is measured to measure the weight of the food. CONSTITUTION:The food is put on a dish and the dish is put on a door 3, opened horizontally. The weight of the food is divided into a given ratio through a door arm 13 and a door supporting fitment 17 and the weight, applied to the door arm, is transferred to the oscillating string 16 as the tension thereof. A correlation exists between the oscillating frequency of the oscillating string 16 and the tension thereof and the weight of the food can be measured by the oscillation frequency. The oscillation frequency of the string is detected by a microphone 18 and the string is plucked upon measuring by a plucking means. A pluck weight 32 is attracted by a coil and the oscillating string 16 is plucked by the snap weight when an electric current is cut. The correlation between the oscillation frequency and the weight is being memorized in a microcomputer, the weight of the food is obtained from the measured oscillation frequency based on the memorized correlation. The optimum heat cooking may be effected by either indicating the measured weight in an indicating section or controlling the period of time and output of heating based on the measured weight. |
