PURPOSE:To protect the glass of a thin type panel by providing a panel frame and battery covering a circuit substrate and liquid crystal panel as well as the side face of the liquid crystal panel. CONSTITUTION:A thin wall continuous to the side face of a liquid crystal panel 1 is provided to a panel frame 2 and reliefs 2c of recesses are provided in the positions opposing to the corners of the panel 1. Then, when intensive shocks are applied, the wall deflects but clearances are secured at the weak corner parts 1a of the panel 1 by the recesses 2c of the panel frame and therefore these parts do not collide with the panel frame 2 and are thereby perfectly protected. |
