<p>PURPOSE:To reproduce a good picture by executing intermittently an optical exposure to a photosensitive body through an optical control member. CONSTITUTION:The light of a light source 3 consisting of an LED array transmits through a liquid crystal array 2 through a cylindrical lens 4 and forms an image on the surface of a photosensitive drum by an ''Selfoc '' lens 5. On the other hand, picture signals D-1-D-m corresponding to white and black make and break switches 6-1-6-m through D-FFs 7-1-7-m driven by a CLOCK signal synchronizing with the rotation of the drum 1. In accordance with it, an opposite phase high frequency voltage applied to liquid crystal arrays 2-1-2-m is controlled and the liquid crystal 2 is turned on and off. Accordingly, the photosensitive drum is optically exposed intermittently, and a good picture can be reproduced.</p> |
