PURPOSE:To intercept the path of gas automatically and prevent explosion by a constitution wherein the path of gas is blocked when the increasing amount of the gas has exceeded the maximum flow amount set for the kind of meter and the kind of gas. CONSTITUTION:An electric signal from a flow amount sensor 2 attached to a gas meter 1 is inputted into a processing unit 3. The processing unit 3 memorizes the amount of gas of last time and the same of one time before last time. The processing unit 3 decides the variation per time of the flow amount that there exists the variation when a difference between the present gas amount, operated in this time, and the gas amount of the last time is larger than a predetermined minimum variation deciding flow amount DELTAQ and that there exists none when the difference is smaller than the same flow amount DELTAQ. When there exists the variation, a difference between the gas amount of one time before the last time and the present gas amount is operated at the time of finishing next measurement and the increasing amount is determined as the amount of consumption of an added equipment. As a result, an intercepting signal is not outputted when the amount of gas flow is less than the predetermined maximum flow amount for the kind of gas and the kind of meter but the same signal is outputted when it is larger than the maximum flow amount. |
