PURPOSE:To make the flowing volume of powder automatically constant by a method wherein a detector is provided to detect the transmitting of light in a tube and the transmitting rate of light in each tube is controlled to be the same. CONSTITUTION:Emitted light from a light source 21 crosses the tube 9 vertically to the tube 9 as the parallel beam by a lighting lense 22, and is received by a receiving and collecting lense 23, and is collected on a light receiving element 24. At this instance, it is effective to use raser light for the light source. And as the light receiving element 24 such as a CdS cell photoalley will be adequate. The output from the light receiving element 24 is amplified by a amplifier 25, and is supplied to a light transmitting rate computor 30. To speak of the relation between the opening of a valve and the transmitting rate, the volume of finely powdered coals flowing through a pipe 9 increse according as the opening of a valve 15 increase. From the above mentioned result, the supply volume of finely powdered coals 14 will be able to be adjusted and controlled by controlling the opening of the valve 15. |
