PURPOSE:To permit to observe the finishing of cooking surely by a method wherein a cooking time and a cooking temperature are indicated alternately on the time indicating unit of an operation panel. CONSTITUTION:A temperature probe 6 is equipped in the oven 2 and a necessary cooking time is memorized and set in a micro-computer on the operation panel 7 incorporated into the oven. Upon cooking, a remaining period of time is indicated on the time indicating section of the operation panel under effecting count down. The cooking temperature of a food to be cooked, which is detected by the temperature probe 6, is indicated on the time indicating section 8 alternately with constant time intervals and when the remaining cooking period of time is reduced, only the remaining cooking period of time is indicated under effecting count down without indicating said temperatures while only the cooking temperature of the food 4, which is detected by the temperature probe 6, is indicated on the time indicating section 8 when the cooking is finished. According to these indication, not only the cooking temperature may be confirmed during cooking but also the heating temperature of the cooking food may be increased or decreased based on the indication of the cooking temperature. |
