PURPOSE:To remove with precision weld beads on inner and outer faces of a welded steel pipe by bringing the center of rotation of one sway arm, equipped with an inner face rotary cutter and an outer face rotary cutter, in coincidence with the center of the welded steel pipe and swaying the sway arm. CONSTITUTION:An inner face rotary cutter 2 capable of slidably contacing the inner face of a welded steel pipe 1 and an outer face rotary cutter 3 capable of slidably contacting the outer face of said steel pipe 1 are provided, on one sway arm 4 at intervals in the longitudinal direction of said arm 4, so as to be driven into free rotation in the respective directions of arrows. The arm 4 is swayed round the rotational center X which coincides with the center of the steel pipe 1 in the direction of an arrow (a). Thus, weld beads 11, 11 on inner and outer faces of the steel pipe 1 are cut almost synchronously. |
