A microwave transformer for the transformation of an incoming microwave signal with a given frequency (f1) to a signal with an intermediate frequency (f0-f1) consists of a field-effect transistor (T) of the Ga-As type and appurtenant passive circuits. The field-effect transistor's (T) gate electrode (G) is connected to a di-electric resonator (DR) and its source electrode is connected to a band exclusion filter (BSF) and a half-wave resonator (R) for excluding the microwave signals and for providing the transistor with negative resistance characteristics. The outlet on the resonator (R) can form the transformer's outlet.<IMAGE> |
