发明名称 PREPARATION OF L-TRYPTOPHAN BY FERMENTATION
摘要 PURPOSE:To obtain the titled compound in an improved preparation amount, by cultivating a bacterium capable of producing L-tryptophan in a liquid medium for preparation of tryptophan, containing Mg ion with specific high concentration. CONSTITUTION:A bacterium [e.g., Bacillus subtilis FT-145 (FERM P-1783), Brevibacterium flavum AJ-3246 (ATCC21427), etc.] capable of producing L-tryptophan is cultivated in a liquid medium for tryptophan preparation, containing 0.04- 0.2wt% calculated as Mg ion of Mg salt such as magnesium sulfate, preferably at 5-9pH at 20-40 deg.C under aerobic conditions for 24-72hr, and L-tryptophan is formed in the culture solution. It is then collected.
