PURPOSE:A seasoning of high sugar concentration is brought into contact with silica gel under heating to effect adsorption of precipitation-causing substance in a short time and remove it. CONSTITUTION:A seasoning of high sugar concentration, containing more than 30w/v% total saccharides, such as MIRIN (sweetened Japanese SAKE for seasoning), MIRIN-like seasoning or a seasoning prepared by fermentation, is brought into contact with porous silica gel, preferably of 200-400m<2>/g surface area, 0.8-0.2ml/g void volume and less than 20mu average particle size at a ratio of 0.25wt. of the gel to the volume of the seasoning under heating at higher than 50 deg.C. |
