Mould comprises a conical centring mandrel (2) in the lower part of a thin-walled plastics moulding of poly-alpha-olefin, e.g. polypropylene, polyester, polyamide or polyformaldehyde, opt. reinforced with glass fibres, pref. in an amount of 10-30 pts. wt. - An annular stiffening rib (3) pref. projects in the same direction as the mandrel at the outer end of the flat central region (1) of the mould and there are opt. two spaced ribs along the inclined wall of the mould.
